Following graduation, he continued his education through the American College, obtaining his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. Mitch is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (43 years), having served on the Board of the Top of The Table, chaired the Estate Planning sessions for its annual meeting, chaired the number one rated Main Platform for the 2001 annual meeting, as well as serving and chairing many other committees. He served as the 2002-2003 President of the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation. He was the Founder and first President of the Westchester County Chapter of CLU & ChFC, past president of many organizations including the Westchester Life Underwriters' Association and the Estate Planning Council of Westchester and past Chairman of the Life Underwriters Political Action Committee for New York State, member of AALU and The Forum 400. Long active in his community, Mitch has served as Chairman of The Men's Division of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is a Trustee of Temple Israel of New Rochelle, Commissioner of the New Rochelle Youth Bureau, a director of the New Rochelle Police Foundation and was vice-chair of the Westchester UJA/Federation Campaign. These involvements have earned him such recognition as: Recipient of The Fred E. Hamilton Award for Community Service, The Albert Einstein College of Medicine Humanitarian Award, The Lester A. Rosen Humanitarian and Achievement Award, The Spencer L. McCarty Award, UJA/Federation Insurance Man of the Year, Temple Israel UJA Honoree and the top Quality of Life award by the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation.
